Ok ok ok
October 26, 2010
Quit fooling around with the template. Just start blogging. You know how.
(Looks up).
Oh, hey, hi! Thanks for coming over. This is my new place. Red Stapler grew up and got its own apartment! Welcome. Make yourself at home. Sure you can put your feet up on the furniture. You don’t mind that it is covered in fur, do you? That’s why they CALL it “fur”niture. Haha, old joke, I know.
No, that wasn’t me. That was Goldie. I don’t know what she eats that makes her do that.
Can you crack that window open? A little more. Ok. Thanks.
My Happy Place at Creative Alliance 10 in Ojai, which inspired me to do a couple things, including finally getting my own URL

Hi! This is also a comment! Hi! Hi! Hi! Thanks for screwing up the link in my most recent post by moving your blog.
Hi! It worked out ok since it took 3 weeks to actually get this blog up and running and with a new URL appropriately pointed. But I love that you were my first commenter, besides that hot Mr. WordPress.
This is nice! I like it here!
I know! Some of my favorite people are already here!
Hi! This is also a comment! Thanks for not screwing up the link in my most recent post, because I haven’t figured out how to do that yet. But I loved the joke about the dog. Here we have no dog, so we blame the possums. No, they don’t live inside. Yet.
Putting a link in your post is my homework for you. The lady at the tormented monkey and bear sanctuary had a love of possums. A real love. Wow.
Congrats on the new digs!
Why thank you. I plan on fixing the place up soon.
Will you be moving all your old posts from there to here?
Hahahahaha. Every time I hear someone do that, they wail for weeks about how hard it is. I think I will keep the old Red Stapler open as a museum.
I’ve moved blog locations a few times and I’ve always taken my content with me. The hardest part is images (but really only if you’ve uploaded them to your server vs inserting them via links to say Flickr) and links (if you link to one of your posts from another).
YAY YOU!!!! (I remember the first time I read your old blog…I was like this chick is AWESOME!)
Aw. You are one of my OG bloggers. Oh gaw, I just said “OG” and I am old and white.
Yay Suebob! Congrats on the new place. I love it.
Well, thank you, Julie.
Hi, friend! I’m here! Congrats on your move!
hmm. i supposed this means i need to go figure out how to update my blog manager thingie.
well, congrats on the new space!
october 26th? where have i been?
Glad you took the plunge & set up shop here. Hope it’s rewarding for you. Give everyone a chance to pass the word along & you’ll be mobbed just in time for the holidays! 😉
Ooh, it’s all bright and pretty in here!
Yay! Good for you!
Yay fresh bloggyness! Congrats! xoxo
This makes me giggle since I just moved mine to the domain I have owned for three years.
Sigh – we old gals need a little more time , but we get there!
When I moved to wordpress, someone helped me move all the content. I can give you her name if you are interested, although I kind of love the idea of a redstapler23.blogspot.com museum.
Thanks, Suzanne. I think I will leave it for now. I have a limited tolerance for spending money blogging, and I’ve hit my limit this month.
Oh, was that Goldie? I thought it was our guy, Spot. It’s the tell for when he’s “relaxing” at our feet as we all crash on the couch.
Pass the clothespins.
Found you via Fluid Pudding. Loving.
